I hope there is an intermission. There was one in Titanic (Yes, I admit it, I watched it in a theater!). I'm going to see LOTR with my girlfriend, and considering that girlshave to go pee about once every hour...

man I swear I can hold it for days upon days... until I sit down to watch a movie. I don't understand it myself.

I'm not eating or drinking for 24 hours prior to the movie to ensure a completely empty bladder! If I so much as miss the opening trailers from this movie, I'm gonna cry like a girl for days and days.

They had one in Finland. I guess it's up to the theater/distributor. It was a good thing too. We had all the romantic crap in the first half, and after the intermission you got the sinking.
