Lol what is aggro'd

Short for Aggravate...the act of drawing monsters towards yourself and thusly the group.

To explain it so you understand it more.

Basically if you get to close to a monster, it will agro. Each monster has its own agro radius. So the idea is to stay out of his range... Once you get into his range, you agro them and he attacks. If you do not get into his range, he does not know you are there.

That's pretty funny :)

And I'm glad I've never picked up the habit of talking like that in online games.

To further explain, aggro radius is also based on your characters level. If you're a 60 walking past lvl 50 mobs, then you can get a lot closer to the mobs without aggroing them than a lvl 50 can.

Just saw this from a link from a buddy, and I have to say it's hilarious! For the week or so that I played WoW, this pretty much sums it up and from what others have said about it later in the game.

I must confess that I use it mockingly quite often. It's pretty fun if you don't go too overboard with it.

Anyone who knows all the terminology used in the gif should get a kick out of it, it fits almost too damned well.

Most of the terminology goes beyond WoW. Everything except "FP" and "Kek".

Huh? Well I guess that makes me an immature kid into sado-massochism... wait, no it doesn't. That's an awful generalization to make. This video is hilarious because it is making fun of the small minority of people that actually still think l33t is cool. Most people typing this way are just making fun of it.

Also, anytime you sell 2 million copies of a game there are going to be some immature folks, but no less or more than any other successful online game. Most of that stuff originated in Everquest.
