LOTR: Fellowship of The Ring Problem

Hi,

I have the PC game LOTR: Fellowship of The Ring, when I run the game and the game tries to run, all I get is a black screen. The game doesn't crash or freezes, it just stays on the blank screen forever. I've tried changing the settings, lowering audio and video acceleration, no luck. My system specs are:

Amd Athlon XP 2400+
Geforce 6800
512 MB PC2100 Micron Ram
Hercules Muse 5.1 sound card
Antec True Power 430 PSW

I have directx 9.0C and all the latest drivers.

Any help appreciated.

...are you patched up to the latest version of the game?

Yes, I've installed the latest patch for the game.

I bet its Direct X 9.0c. I've heard of some peeps ahving issues with it on some games. Go back to 9.0b. That would be my recommendation.

I was having the same problem with the prevoius directx version, thanks for the reply.
