LOTR Extended Version Trilogy...

Pardon me if this is knowledge that I should be aware of, but I googled "the lort of the rings DVD extended version trilogy" and only found a couple sites in the UK that will be selling this. Basically what I am wondering is if anyone knows if there is going to be an OFFICIAL release of all the extended version DVDs and all the extra discs in one amazing package. I realize I can buy all three separately, but I don't want to if I can get some official release which might contain even more goodies. I've been holding out ever since the fellowship and I just can't wait any longer. Will this ever be a reality? Thanks so much...

Well, more like 12 dvds to rule them all... (4 dvd's per movie.....)

wow 12dvds. is the new copy protection to make it so much data that nobody wants to download? even with compression, WOW thats a big download (if ur into pirating). in this situation, you gotta love the saying
"never underestimate the bandwidth of a truck full of dvds"
