Great episode.

The scene where Michael gave his dog to the girl and the end scene with Sun and Jin ... great scenes.

I dunno why, I thought today was the Season Finale ... 2 more hours left!

Thankfully, I set my MDP-130 to record from 7:58 - 9:02, because it turns out the episode was 1h, 1min ... would have missed that last emotional scene

not necessarily. Jack was originally supposed to be played by Michael Keaton, and they were going to kill him off episode 1 to show that anything goes on the island.

I think this show's one of the greatest series in a while. Considering all there is consists of crap "reality" shows. Lost has good character development, good background stories, and great pace...perfect formula for a TV series. I'm going to hate seeing the rest of the cast die though.

Excellent episode. Pretty weird that they bring in a new character with 3 episodes left (That Arzt teacher guy)

Nice mix of emotions and action. Cannot wait for the finale, but it seems as though there are so many questions still unanswered!

I stopped watching lost about 2 month ago, could somebody give me a quick recap of all that's happened? The last episode I saw was when Locke and that other dude were digging up some metal structure on the sand, while others were looking for the pregnant girl.

Man, last's night's episode was good. Great emotion, great characterization, great mini-backstories (There's an Arab guy that left his bag behind! Hah!), great musical score, great anticipation for next week.

I thought so too. But, I feel the writers are going to need to introduce many more of these new, minor characters to fill plot holes and provide explanations. They'll show up here and there, but nothing major. Now that we know a considerable amount of background on the main characters, it would be hard to explain how one of them knew about the weather/monsoon season. Enter Arzt.

It actually works out quite well. The writers still have about 20 other people on the island we know nothing about that can be entered into the story at any time.
