Lost username and password.

Hey,

Well its been almost two ~ three years since I installed this version of windows ok.And ever since then I have been using the remember me feature to login to the forums. But lately I been having the urge to switch over to linux. But just then I remembered that I lost my username and password. I can't even recollect my hint question 🙁. I registered with this email address: ganeshaditya@adityasastry.co.cc, but can't seem to find the login credientials in the inbox.

So please can any mod pm or email or im(iitaditya007@yahoo.co.in) or scrap(orkut) me my crediantials ?? Please its sort of urgent cause I need to format my drives.

First off. Your user name is ganesh1 Second off, the admins can't email you your password, and even if they could they wouldn't send it to a different address than you have in your profile.

Change your email address in your profile, then use the 'i forgot my password' option.

I think the issue (if I read it right) was he doesn't have access to that mail server anymore. So he needs to update his profile THEN reset his password to get this fixed.

I do have my username,password... all my emails are working properly. I have reseted my password. and installed wubi yesterday. just restarted my pc and gonna post something from linux.

well, not confusion, but you sort of gave me a idea you know, like what to do in a situatiuon like this. I totally forgot that I can reset my password.

Hey esquared. I might wanna give some suggestion. why dont you redirect the user to some page after he presses the update profile button. seems to be that its a bug in the forums code.

you know bill, I gave my IM address there for a reason. I was expecting some one to chat with me. I'm feeling so FUCKING LONELY. We can chat on all sort of stuffs (cooking, aquariums, computer hardware,life,how it sucks)... and hows things going with amtrack ??

If you want the above user name, the easiest thing to do would be to delete or rename the above account (no posts) and assign your preferred user name to this account.

Unless you have yet another account, PM the Mod account with your preferences, and one of our mods will help you. 🙂
