I am running windows 98se. pIII700, 256mb ram, HP 970cxi printer. The printer works fine from "Word" but if I try to use the print button in Internet Exp 5.5 a messagecomes up ; script error
line1015, url:res//c:\windows\system\SHDOCLC.DLL./preview.dlg. If I try to use the print button in Outlook Exp , I get the message "Printer not found." I have tried reinstalling the printer and the drivers to no avail. I tried repairing Int Exp, no help. I have checked sys info and it says the printer is on LPT1 port, DMA 3, IRQ 7. Any ideas? Thanks

Again, I point you to matters concerning scripts...if you can print from either IE and Outlook Express using "File/Print" vs. the Print Button, then it's definitely not hardware related. Look under your IE Settings in Control Panel under Security for Internet and make sure all Scripting boxes show something other than "disabled", too, and see if that helps.

No, I cannot print in Int Exp or Out Exp from the "file-print" or the bar print button, but I can save it to "word" and print from there.

Well, whatever, if you can print from somewhere, it's not hardware, it's software. Check that webpage for troubleshooting scripts. You haven't answered specifically what you've done.
