Lost My Job...Need Advice

I just lost my job and im broke..i have 10 bucks in my wallet with a 1992 SC400 V*(Gas is like OMG) What would you guys suggest i should i? i tried looking for job but i see none out there=( what can i do on the internet to make a little bit of cash? I am trying to sell my computer for 600+shipping and thats a crazy price!!! well any advice should help me.
 
I used to work at a Buffet as a Waiter....but this was no original reastuaraunt...it was a fun place where young people like me..ages from 18-23 worked and a place to chill when we aint got nothing to do.....making around a 100 a day was pretty good too.

I don't know what your previous job was, but I've always been told that you should have at least six months' worth of living expenses put away in the bank for occasions such as these. Right now you need to find some job PRONTO. It doesn't matter what it is, even if it's bussing tables to doing housekeeping work somewhere, you need to find something to pay the bills until you can get yourself back in order.

While true in many areas, there are areas in this country that are starved of jobs and even the low paying jobs have so many people signing up for them it's not funny.

That brings me to another point. You drive a Lexus, yet when you get laid off from your job you have absolutely nothing but $10 in your wallet? Sounds like you need to re-asess your priorities.

I dunno. I read this thread and I think you may be giving him a little to much credit. Another system and cash sounds exactly in line with the OP's priorities.

OP... You need to take a time out and rethink your priorities. If you own a Lexus and you live paycheck to paycheck there is something wrong.

With an attitude like this I am beginning to think that your problems are self-inflicted and as such I find it difficult to pity you.

Hell, one time my company went out of business so I was unemployed by no fault of my own, and I got a job swinging a hammer at a construction site for a few weeks because I had to. At that point I worked nearly six years as an analytical chemist, but I took a job as a construction worker because I had to do what I had to do.

Personally I think you make yourself appears as a lazy dolt, but that's just me.

Agreed. That line was laughable.

And grow out of the ghetto routine already ("skillz", "we aint go nothing to do"). You're not in high school anymore.

And why, why, WHY must you fall into the stereotypical vietnamese-doing-nails thing? You picked up on computers, so you sound smart enough to do more with your life than what your social circle tells you. Hopefully, you'll grow out of it one day.
