Lost my brother yesterday

Life has a way at times of just giving you a big dope slap. Got home from work yesterday and an hour later got a call that I should come over to my brothers house, he's had an accident. He lives about 10 minutes from me and when I got there the police told me he was dead, they found him at the bottom of the steps that went to the bedroom level of his townhouse. They wouldn't let us in his house while they were investigating and at this point we have no idea what happened to him, whether he tripped and fell down the steps or had a heart attack while going up/down. There is no indication of any foul play involved so now we are just waiting for the answers.

Be sure to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you occasionally as you never know when you won't have the chance to do so. My last conversation with my brother was a few days ago and I rushed him off the phone as we were having a mild argument regarding issues with our mother.
 
sorry for you lost. How old are you guys?

My big bro is 6 years older than me, but no matter how hard he tries, I never feel close to him. Shit, I feel closer to my employees than my brother (same dad and mom. yes my parents have been together for 40+ years). I don't know if it's just my personality or that we just didn't grow up together. Shit, I don't even feel close to my parents.

I'm 56, 2 other brothers are 47 and 46.

would be probably alive today if he maintained his health by watching his weight and not smoking. My condolences.
