Well, it looks like my job over the past ten years is no longer, so I am now among the unemployed. Been out of the job matket for over ten years, and need to write a new resume. Anybody have a really good template?

Thanks in advance.

and in general, templates are not the way to go, as they make a resume look too manufactured.

atleast thats what they told us all through college the past 5 years 😛.

Hmm... my wife just mentioned to me this morning they are recruiting for a new production manager since someone was bumped up at her work. They maybe looking internal first I'll let you know when I talk to her tonight.

Well, I guess I can just free form it. Thanks.

TheAudit - Thanks. It really sucks. It was a really good plave to work for the first 8 years. But the last two have sucked anyway.

I don?t have a resume template for you, but I wanted to say good luck in your job search.

Ditto.

Good luck in your search.

FOCUS more on the RESPONSIBILITIES you had at your job and less on your academics as long as you have a degree. You don't need to list HS stuff.

Sorry to hear about the job man. 🙁

If you like I could e-mail you a copy of my resume. I am a recent graduate so it probably has more of a focus toward education than you would want, but I have had compliments on how the format looks. Gear yours more toward the real world experience you have.
