okay i just finished watching lost in translation,
does anyone know what bill murray's charcter tell charlotte???
it's bothering me like akajf;skja;dkjf;aklsdjfa;kdhgaioshgas;dn;!!!

after 43min of thinking about it more
i've decided that he told her "....charlotte....i am your father, no?"
i think my imagination has gone dry tonight.

The point of the movie is that words don't always convey the reality of the situation. That's even found in the title "Lost in Translation". The point of the last scene is that they parted with a smile. That little exchange of emotion is worth more than words could ever describe.

He is a famous person in the US too. Thus he can be easilly found. It doesn't matter what he said, she can always see him whenever she wants.

Who cares, the movie is unspoilable as it was spoiled from the first minute. I want 2 hours of my life back. It started slow and accelerated to a screeching halt. I have to get back to watching the paint dry and the grass grow: much more entertaining.

She smokes a few times in the movie. When she first sits at the bar with Bill Murray's character. I think she smokes in the hotel room a bit too.
