I'm just sick of Charlie. Show me the backstory to the fat kid already!!!

i have a feeling they aren't going to show it. it seems that now they have just been repeating previous people. i hope they don't just continue to repeat the past people, but that looks like the current pattern.

the only thing I could think they can do with hurley is maybe talk about his weight problem, because he really doesn't get into any conflicts on the actual island himself, as most of the back storied people have.

he was interviewed on a radio station here in LA a while back and he said they were going to do his back story. i hope they do follow through on it. he has some issue somwhere though.

There were rumors that his backstory is going to be the last episode of the season, too.

Character development for one of the better characters in the show. Otherwise, you're essentially watching Survivor.

Yeah. It sort-of bothers me too, but I also realize it's the way he does things. It's a little hard when new episodes are weekly(at the most) though, it seems.

They'll touch on something, and then won't revisit it for a few episodes.. then all a sudden, it's like, "Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh........".. lol.

I like it, but it can make it seem like it jumps all over the place unless you follow very closely.

anyone notice that the boat is almost already built?

They only showed a couple of guys working on the boat in one scene in last nights episode.

I cant wait for that storyline to pick up.

Also cant wait for Lock and Boone to dig up whatever it is they found!

That'll probably be one of the cliffhangers in the season finale. You know what would be crazy?? What if Locke and Boone are just hanging around the latch(like they usually do) and the latch starts opening?? ohhhh man!!!

so it seems as if Lost has taken a new direction and instead of truly progressing the story further on the island and leading our stranded group closer to rescue, they are delving deeper into certain character's pasts and shedding more light on the type of person each of them are.

I, for one, enjoyed this week's episode. I really like the Sawyer character and enjoyed learning more about his past. The ending scene was very predictable, but it was the only way that could have gone. I also loved how they played "I Never." HHahahahha.... collegegames.com
a bit slow, but the focused on a character i like, so an overall enjoyable episode.

I'm still a bit pissed that we havent' learned more about Hurley's (the fat kid) past.

My guess is that by the end of the season, we'll learn that each of the passengers are connected to each other in some way.

The last epsoide was ok. The part that really caught me was when Sawyer was in the bar and talks with the doc's dad. Any one think that Sawyer will tell him about it or what the his dad said?

Anybody else notice Ethan breathing while Charlie and Hurley were burying him?

It's hard to believe the person behind the genius of Felicity could be responsible for Alias and Lost

ok what was going on with the dude Sawyer shot ?

I watched and rewatched that scene and I still don't get it... was he the guy who conned his parents and made the dad go psycho, or not? he acted like he didn't know what he was talking about

then he said he borrowed money and was going to pay it back (?) and then (castaway)sawyer looks like me made a big mistake

so was it the right guy he killed or not, and if so why did he suddenly act like it was a mistake

It wasn't the right guy. The T1000 owned his ass.

He told him that it was the guy who conned his parents so that he would kill him.

... and the guy who shot himself while he was under the bed... was his real dad... who was too distraught after finding out mommy had cheated... correct ? I didn't hear the mom/son conversation before she went out of the room to confront the guy...

This is my impression of the show so far.... Overall its very good and keeps me watching from week to week. But they need to give closure to some of the stories because its getting a little hard to try and keep track of everything left unresolved. This story is very dependent on you having watched all the episodes to know whats going on at the island and this will lead to very few "new" viewers.
