Hi All.

I seem to have lost my flash drive sometime during my travels today. It contains all the information for a portfolio I've been working on all day. The last time I worked on it was on my Vista PC. I was wondering if there is any chance that Microsoft Word has any copy of it recently backed up on my computer. I've already searched for the title of it and all that I get is a link pointing to the file that isn't there because my flash drive is not.

Any help is much appreciated!

There would be no copy of your flash drive anywhere unless you specifically copied it or backed it up.

I think you are SOL. :(

If word ever crashed on you while you were working on the file, there may be a recovery file in the following directory, otherwise you better get rolling on a redo.

C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

p.s. I just realized that I was two days late, hope it all went well.
