Looks like they're about to ramp things up. Anyone know if they've been picked up for a second season? I'm wondering if they actually get rescued at the end of the show
 
wow, something so simple none of us thought of... a guy mixed in. Abrams must have a oooh-this-will-get-them manual for writers.
 
Lost r0x. Unfortunately I don't have cable here at college. I downloaded all the episodes. I was pissed when they didn' have the new ep during Thanksgiving cause I was home then with cable. And now tonight I could've watched it elsewhere but I had lab. So now I gotta wait for another hour or so and grab the torrent so I can watch it tomorrow. Damn this thread, I was trying not to think about it, the suspense, and the spoilers!! 🙁

edit: My god is that main character-brunette chick and the one dumb blonde so ridiculously hot!! :Q
 
this show is so ridiculously good. it got to the end and flashed the title and i was like "WHAT?! NOOOOOOOOO"

damn can't wait til next week.
 
1) "that guy" (ethan) was in the previous episode
2) ethan rom = anagram for "other man"
3) show is pretty much a lock to be picked up for a 2nd season
 
definitely one of the best shows on tv right now. it's so addicting. and yeah i saw that ethan guy an episode or two back. he just popped in like nothing. sure explains that. maybe he's the guy that french chick was talkin about? ahh who knows. just watch next week!
 
i called this a few weeks ago and i think there's more than 1 extra person popping in.

the story behind why he's being such a dick and kidnapping people and stuff better be a good one. It better not come down to him just being "messed in the head"

This, no doubt, has ties to the French chick. We also better learn more about what happened to Sayed back when he was "heading toward the whispers"

Also, I'm still waiting for the episode where we look into the fat dude's past!!!
 
I'm really impressed with the show, thought this episode would suck, but the background on pregnant chick was interesting.

The extra guy was pretty cool too.

I really hope they wrap things up by the end of the season, it's going to make me crazy if they don't.
 
i really enjoyed last nights episode too! i watched in HD for the first time 😀 so i can' complain.

anyways, the new episode does look like the show is taking an entirely new twist. that guy seemed suspicious from the get go. did any of you guys ever see the old B-movie horror movies The Stepfather? the guy who plays Ethan (the new guy) was the stepfather from a few of those movies haha. those movies were great!
 
Don't worry, Abrams has a habit of wrapping things up, only to start new cliffhangers. Just watch Alias and you'll know what I mean.

About the extra guy and how he just popped in there... this show is mainly focused on a handful of characters. I was thinking it would've been better if the "extra" guy was one of them instead. Feels like Abrams didn't have this planned all along but just threw it in as a way out (since he ran out of leads). But if you think about it... if it were one of the main characters, the whole feel of the show wouldn't really be a mystery but rather... just a cheesy psycho-in-our-midst thriller.

Kinda like he had to do it this way. Someone mentioned he was in a previous episode, but I don't remember seeing him. I'm just wondering how Ethan and the other long inhabitants have shaved all this time. 😉
