Lost city found near Cuba! (DEEP UNDER WATER)

I remember watching a Discovery channel program awhile back that dealt with the discovery of a underwater stone roadway off the southern tip of Florida.
I wonder if these two are closely related or possibly one and the same.

Atlantis was in the Mediterranian ocean or whatever you call it, or so historians say. Cant see how a myth originated in south Europe could have happened in central america :Q

To my knowledge, Atlantis was extremely powerful seafaring nation, so it's not impossible for it to be located far away from mediterranean. They might have had some outposts if the med. When their home was destroyed, the outposts lost support, and were slowly assimialted to surrounding cultures.

That is, assuming that the Atlantis-legend is true.
