It is not the best at all.

This season alone Californication, Dexter and Curb Your Enthusiasm all blew it away. Granted, I haven't seen the entire season of Lost yet but I doubt it will top them.

In past years the shows above beat Lost every year as well. Well, maybe not Dexter seasons 2 and 3, but definitely Californication and Curb.

Actually the island would be perfect for House, he loves puzzles. Maybe he can finally get some fuckin answers for us. 😛

house's solution would be even more complicated than lost already is.

also this poll is missing an option for 'best show on TV 4-5 years ago.' first couple seasons of this show were great, but it's just not going anywhere.

Fringe > Lost Season 6.

Lost has become a riddle that everyone knows will be probably be revealed by the end of the season, and that makes it intriguing. I'm enjoying it but am not feeling the drama or anticipation like previous years, the years before they left the island and returned.

fringe ties with flashforward for 'most blatantly unoriginal show ever.'

at some point, that show had to be pitched as 'a direct copy of the x-files with a twist of lost.'

The twist of lost that you're referring to must be the revisiting of the past and associated character baggage etc....but I never watched x-files so I'm not prepared to ridicule the point you're making yet. 😉

I watched Season 1 and got confused toward the end (it's been several years, don't recall exactly what the problem was). I then read on this forum that it only got worse as the seasons progress and decided not to waste any more time on it. I like to be entertained, not frustrated, when watching television.

Well I can't say it's the worst show ever because we have Stargate Universe and Desperate Housewives and some other crap to compete with. But it is a tough competitor.

I really don't like Fringe. The characters just aren't very likeable, and even though it's supposed to be here in Boston, they film it in like Canada or something.

Flashforward was interesting up until they revealed why they were flashing forward.

Where's the "This show is absolute crap" option?

why come into a thread entitled "Lost appreciation thread" and ask for options to bash it?

what exactly goes through your mind when you read that? do you not know what appreciation means or something?
