so why didnt KG just stop him from scoring? besides, when youre on top, everyone is gunning for you. if KG is such a wise, upstanding player he should know that.
verdict: guilty, and a thug.

there's a very fine line between "trying to get notice" and "getting your ass beat." Rickert just cross the line. aagin, Garnett shouldn't do what he did, but Rickert should be smart enough to be humble. that's kinda like a newbie in a boot camp yelling at the drill sergerent "Sir, you cannot make me do pushups, that's against my civic rights."

or better yet, like that newbie in that pizza commerical saying "That ain't delivered, its DiGarno."

i understand that and agree. but he scored on him....in practice.....KG has some issues if thats somehow disrespectful.

What are we talkin about? We're in here talking about practice. Not a game; we're talking about practice. How silly is that? I know KG's supposed to be there. I know he's supposed to lead by example. I know that. I know it's important, but we're talking about practice. ...

And as far as him graduating from some prep school in Chicago, that's bullsh1t. He was sent there after being involved in a lynching on a white guy along with three other black guys (again, witnessed personally). The three black guys were arrested. Kevin was not, he was sent to a private school.

LOL - do you even know what a "lynching" is?

what is that mess of a post? Go away, same thing with the guy crying about how much money NBA players make...go cry somewhere else, just cause you flip burgers doesn't mean they should have to!

I'm sure the fast food places don't want them anyway. 😉

it could have been much worse -- KG could have busted out his weapons arsenal like he said he would against Sacramento -- bazookas, rocket launchers, etc.

I take it this Granett guy is yet another under-21 years old, overpaid baby...er, basketball player?

they should all have to flip burgers for the entire length of their first pro contract during the off season just to keep them grounded to earth. Bunch of PUNKASS KIDS is what they all are! Except for Tim Duncan. He's older now, but when he WAS that age, he was a respectful young man.

geezus stop hating on the world

kevin garnett is a very talented player, and he hasn't ever shown that kind of behavior. I'm sure Rickert somehow provoked it

Regardless, Garnett physically assaulted someone that would lead to criminal charges in the real world. Kevin better pray the rookie doesn't:

A) File charges against him
B) Sue Garnett for everything he can

I HIGHLY doubt that Garnett is worried about him suing.
