Lost all display settings & tabs under display properties

I turn on my computer this morning, and I've lost my video settings for my 9500. Xp doesn't show any tabs under display properties expect for the theme setting. I've removed the drivers and reinstalled them, but the tabs still don't show. I'm sick of looking at the default settings on my 19" monitor, and need to change them. Is their a way to fix this.

I have download the control panel but it won't work because I get a message that no video drivers are installed and control panel therefor won't work. I tried removing the drivers again and installing everything but still won't work. No tabs at all.

Someone must know. I'm leaning towards formatting again, but don't really want to.
