........and for those who missed the first one, or tonights show, they will both be on Saturday.

hmmmm...Tivo online only shows the 2 hourt pilot on Saturday...

the original pilot was cut into two different episodes (what is on wednesday nights). this will be the entire two shows combined as they should have been.

I heard an interview on the radio about the show. Sounds interesting. (I don't watch much TV so I'll probably never see it) They mentioned it is filmed in Hawaii and all of the locals kept calling 911 because of the plane on the set. They all thought there had been a real crash. 😀

The only other spoiler they gave away was that the "monster" was not a dinosaur, and that it would have a very minor role in the rest of the show.

Yeah, the monster sounds metallic like a rusty door slamming shut when it steps.

The show has been great so far.....very very layered. These whole two episodes so far have basically just been all establishing the openness...they are specifically discounting any plot or story limits you may be wanting to establish as the viewer. It's hard to explain, but, basically they're setting the stage for a show that, like Alias, can swing wildly in any direction and focus on any character and still remain plausible and interesting.

Also, lucky for us, every single survivor appears to have a dark past.

Is the black dude, the guy who played Mercutio in Leo's Romeo And Juliet?

im not sure if its the same guy, but i did recognize him from Oz. He's the guy in the wheelchair.

as far as the show goes, i have really enjoyed it. from the episode last night (i won't give any direct spoilers) when we "found out about the girl" that made my jaw drop :Q. i really am starting to like the show. it leaves me with the same feeling as the sopranos does whenever an episode finished, it just makes you want more of it right then and it sucks you have to wait a week!

My wife tells me the Republican Guard guy is from the Kamasutra. 😉

Anyway, is it safe to say he's playing for the other team (vs. Americans) when he said he was with the Republican Guard (of his country)... ?

It definetely looks like a sweet show. I think the iraqi guy will and up being a good guy, its the woman with the black hair thats the criminal. Cant wait to see the next episode.

The story was pretty good, but there were some parts in the beginning that were TOO far stretched. Like that many people surviving a crash that big...the engine still running. I thought the second part was awesome.

from the flashback of the druggie dude running from the flight attendants... it looks like the plane is enormous.. could have very many survivors

that is very true, i didn't think of that. however, it still just seems a little farfetched in general about how many people survived. i mean the doctor guy woke up in the woods, how the hell did he get there, and hardly have a scratch on him?

all in all i think he show is great so far. just some things are a little too corny for me however, like the way the doctor has become their 'leader' and what not. the whole brother/sister characters are pissing me off, as are the asians because i want to know what is up with them 🙂

EDIT: also, were those supposed to be shrooms he was eating? was kind of hard to tell, but i couldn't think of any other drugs you take that way heh.

it was a greenish colored powder from what I could tell

The doc had a huge gash on his back... they showed it in ep1. I wouldn't say "hardly have a scratch". It is amazing he's been so physically functional though.

Anyway, I don't watch shows like this to nitpick details... I like to watch it because it brings interesting ideas you or I may not have thought of. It basically opens you up to the writer's mind and what he has in store for us. If I wanted real, I'd watch a reality sh... let's just step away from that one. 😉

BTW purbeast... unrelated... I assume you saw Vida in this month's FHM with Alyssa Milano on the cover ? I knew that name was familiar from somewhere...

ok i LOVED this show. SO much promise! and needless to say, kate is one of the hottest babes in tv right now. pity she doesn't have much of a past; i wouldnt' mind seeing a couple of more adult oriented clips with her in them 😉

Shrooms? LOL.. no..

I'm not really sure what it was supposed to be, some sport of powdered heroin maybe? I'm not too knowledgable when it comes to hard drugs.

I believe it was heroin the guy was doing. The show was good, though. I just watched the 2 hour pilot last night. I think I'll add it to my list of shows to watch.
