BTW, I started watching season 1 again last night and after doing so decided that one of the skeletons in the cave is Locke. It has to do with the parchisi (I can't spell) markers Jack finds. The episode before you see Locke holding up similar (same perhaps?) pieces when explaining the game to Walt.

Yeah I have the same feeling. If you remember when Walt came to talk to Hurley, Hurley said his dad was still alive. Plus, dead people on the island come back all the time. Locke is such a key character that they have to bring him back - they need the rivalry between Jack and Locke, with Sawyer thrown in for teh funnay.

I just think that she wants to go back to the island because she thinks Jin may be there. Probably never made it past the "denial" stage of the grieving process. Knowing that Whitmore was able to find the island once, she might want him to find it again.

You might be right. Why else would she make a proposition to Widmore. She could just send thugs after Jack.

The beach where they landed was at the Pililaau Army Recreation center in Waianae. We've stayed in those cabins several times, unfortunately never when they're filming Lost finales. :(
