The whole time travel thing has me confused. I thought time moved slower on the island, so that a few months had passed on the island but years passed in the outside world. But if that's true, then how was the doctor found dead on the island BEFORE he died on the boat? That would mean time on the island is ahead of time on the outside world, assuming the boat isn't in yet another time shift.

They havent come right out and said it yet, but I think the heading taken from the boat to the island controls the flow of time. IE 306 or whatever they use is "current time", a few degrees to the left is future, a few to the right is past.

A few things I noticed about tonight's episode (even played a few parts over to check)

1. When the a-hole military guy took the captains key, he pulled out a book with the Dharma logo on the cover saying it was their 2nd protocol. Does this mean that Mr. Widmore is actually dharma trying to reclaim the island? Would almost explain why Linus and Widmore are on opposite sides.
2. Richard doesn't age
3. The comic book Richard laid on the table during the young Locke test said 'Another Island' on the cover and had a picture of a city ontop of another city, almost indicative of the 'Hollow Earth Theory' i've seen mentioned in a few plays.

i dunno im starting to think that the "cabin" is where "special" people can see and talk to dead people.

i mean we all know Jacks dad died and then claire mysteriously vanished.

i dunno just a guess.

the whole Dali Lama selection for Locke and the passing of the "chosen one" position was nice.

but really, Jeff Fahey/Frank could have ended all the drama/threat by crashing his chopper with Keamy and his troop onboard. Or even just flying off course a little.

Keamy would have slaughtered him before the end of that. He was scared.

Remember in a previous episode Ben was telling Widmore that he wouldn't be able to find the island. Apparently we now know that it is because the island has been moved in a future episode, as suggested by last night's conclusion. It was fairly obvious to me that Widmore was the one who had started the Dharma Initiative. Can't wait till next week.

The whole Claire hanging-out with her Dad in the cabin was really weird. She'd give up the kid just like that.

The cabin scene is weird, but Claire giving up the baby isn't. She boarded 815 to take the baby to adoptive parents in L.A.

Frank could have just crashed into the ocean but either doesn't have the balls to do it or the writers want to extend the storyline.

Damn, how come this isnt up on Xbox Live Marketplace yet? I missed last night's episode.

Not sure when they put the episodes up on abc.com but it will be available in HD streaming. Or if you can't wait bittorrent is your friend . I think Lost gets downloaded a few million times each week.

Edit: It is already on abc.com.

In the previews for next week, when asked where Claire was, Sawyer says "we lost her" I thought that meant she was dead, and why Locke saw her in the cabin.

I sill think Claire is the hottest one on the show.

maybe frank doesn't want to die 🙂

?Lost? lost two hours of its fourth season thanks to the writers? strike, but will get those two hours back over the show?s 5th and 6th seasons, according to producers.

The original plan was to have ?Lost?s? 4th, 5th and 6th seasons run 16 hours each. The plan now:

Season Four: 14 hours.
Season Five: 17 hours.
Season Six: 17 hours.

Season six will continue to be the series? last.

jack's dad! wow

That was his dad? Now I am totally burnt out from Lost. I am getting to the point that Idon't care anymore.

Yup that's Jack and Claire's dad.

Holy crap, I didn't notice. Throughout the entire show, they kept having these 'Surprise mofo, it's me!!!' moments with the Locke backstory, and I couldn't remember who anyone was.

Claire looked way too happy and confident in the cabin. She in on something?
