I think we have been getting hints over the past several episodes that Ben can control the ghosts and the black cloud.

I am trying to factor that into the ghosts that everyone keeps seeing (Hurley, Jack, Baldie, etc etc) OH and Juliet knows about Ben and this "power" which was why she didn't freak when she saw the lady (Goodwin's wife) standing in the middle of the jungle in the rain.

I think the numbers were Ben's way of getting Hurley to the island...via ghosts/timetravel/etc he planted those numbers over and over...

anyways just some random thoughts.


Ben is a puppet master, but over whom and for what reason I can't figure it out!

at the beginning of the episode, Jack is walking around in a towel in a future flash. he didnt have an appendix scar.

Hmm I think he knew the risks of shooting 3 (or 4?) trained military people. He kills one guy, then he has to accurately kill the other guy with another bullet and another one. I would guess after he kills one they others would pull out their guns real quick and spray fire back, possibly hitting claire +baby or whatever.. And he has to score all headshots because they probably wear body armor..

That was my biggest problem with the whole episode. I've never really recovered from the way the cloud killed Eko for no apparent reason. WTF indeed.

Eko was one of my favorite characters. It pissed me off when it killed him, but now I'm wondering if it can roam on its own or if it only acts when told to by Ben. Or if it's not even alive but simply completely controlled in whatever it does by Ben.

It's gotta be after this episode. It fits. He is starting his downward spiral. Alcohol and benzodiapenes.

On another note that script she wrote for Jack was the wrong kind, you cant write controlled substances on a white script. But only a person working in medical profession would pick that up 😛
