i also got the impression she did not say that.

also, you gotta figure she was sent there by the same people who are with the dharma initiative, there is a very good chance she tried to tell him something.

it sounded like russian.

according to lostpedia:

"After Mikhail and Desmond treat Naomi's wound, she says something in Portuguese not spelled out in the captions. It is not "Thank you" as Mikhail claims. Instead, it sounds like "Eu não estou só" which is Portuguese (spoken with a Brazilian accent) for "I am not alone." This is possibly in conjunction with the discovery of the backpack containing the book entitled "Ardil 22" the Portuguese-language version of "Catch 22."

interesting. she is not alone, eh?

i knew there had to be somebody else on the helicopter, in fact since the last episode at the very end when they revealed that she wasnt penny, i was betting myself that there is a good chance that penny is on the island, why would she give up that picture?

For everyone who keeps complaining about unanswered questions and the like please shutup. This has been going on for years and isn't going to stop. The show isn't going to magically change for you. Maybe at the very end we'll get answers to some questions, but it's highly unlikely that we'll get all of them answered.

As for tonight's episode, what a curveball at the end. But, I believe it was a coverup that there were no survivors and that everyone died. They already said the island wasn't purgatory so you know it has to be something else.

not to mention there were answers.

patchy isnt dead - this further explains that the island is just that powerful.

we know about jin's father and mother situation, and now that sun knows about it.

we know who the father of sun's baby is.

we know juliet is very full of hate for ben and that she could be teetering on the edge of betrayal of ben as she seems to actually be getting attached tot he losties.

we know the wealthy parties who know of this island sent somebody there.

Nope I'll keep complaining about it. I like the show but that part of it is annoying. It'd be a better show if they went right to it. It is because I like the show that I am complaining.

is it really, if penny knows the island

Yeah, that's a good point.

Given how powerful/wealthy the other's mainland benefactors are, I think it's conceivable that they faked the discovery of the 815 wreckage so that search parties would be called off.

I love the show too. I personally hate how predictable it has become. Same formula for each episode. But voicing my concerns isn't going to make the show any different.

Can someone clear up something for me? I haven't had a chance to go back and watch it again.

At the end, when the Italian girl is talking to Hurley, did she say that the plane wreckage had actually be found with no survivors? Or did she just say there were no survivors in the plane crash? If it's the latter, then what she said isn't very profound at all. They may have simply lost the plane on radar, knew it crashed, couldn't find the wreckage and assumed all on board died. But if they actually found the crash site, found wreckage and dead passengers, then it becomes rather interesting. I just can't recall how she worded it.

She said the former - they found the wreckage with no survivors. It would be interesting if the whole "mystery" of Lost was that everyone is already dead (like Bruce Willis in Sixth Sense)

I'd buy into that if not for the Italian girl being there. But if it really is purgatory of some sort, then how do we know that even the Italian girl isn't really dead as well? No one there actually knows they're dead (assuming they are) so she wouldn't know either.

Ughhh....Lost is so damn frustrating but I love it :D

While I agree that there was somebody else on the helicopter, I don't think it is Penny. The picture that Naomi has is a photocopy, not the original.

hint at answers, but dont give any. provide questions, then give some small info no one cares about. more questions. OMG big news, then roll credits. Show preview for next week (omgwtfbbqsauce if you miss next week, you'll miss what everyone is talking about)

Step 1. Do that ^ every week
Step 2 ....
Step 3 Profit!!

Same with House. I love House, but it's getting too predictable - new sick patient, try usual stuff, nothing works, House gets a brilliant idea triggered by his environment, patient dies, House brings back to life. Last week was a nice change, they haven't had someone die on the show in awhile, but still...it's a great show, but I don't feel like they're trying very hard to put some more variety into it. Instead of making it semi-believable and random, I know exactly what plot I have to look forward to each week.

I don't think Patchy was ever dead. I think he faked his own death. If you rememeber the Juliet and Kate episode, Juliet had to turn the wall on since it was off. All Patchy did was let spit out of his mouth and fall down. I don't remeber them checking his vitals or anything.

Well if you remember at the end of last season, we saw Penny with those Russian dudes on the boat in icewater or wherever. I'm not remembering it exactly, but she has money and Desmond said that she said she will keep looking for him as long as she has the money to do so.

Also, from last episode - a helicopter can't fly that far, so there must be a nearby land mass or else a large boat for the helicopter to take off from - you can't just fly endless miles over the ocean in a heli!

Desmond has the original. And there was only one shot taken. Desmond and Penny broke up right after the picture was taken. So there shouldn't be any copies.

Not true.

They could just put up a pic of Evangeline for an hour and it would get higher ratings than other shows on.

Is it just me and my friend who think that Lock's Father is the real Sawyer or do other people think this too?

Well the fence made the noise when he was pushed into it, and he also bled from his ears.

Not 100% sure but I think Sayid checked his pulse too and proclaimed him dead.

so if sun didnt ask for the 100k, Jin would still be working on the production floor instead of Enforcer?

so Sun got Jin into more debt and into a worse situation than being told his mom is alive?

And who thinks Sun followed Julette back into the Pearl Station to spy on her?

After all, Sun isnt stupid. She was smart enuf to figure out that if the ultrasound machine can determine how old the baby is, then why is julette asking her when she had sex with jin...

woah :Q i missed that.

i like twists and turns, but this is getting rediculous. More and more questions is getting me interested less and less. Are the ratings up or down this season?

No. Locke pushed him through the invisible fence. For Sayid to do that he would've had to walk through it too. I have trouble remembering, but I don't think they used the fallen tree to climb over it right after Patchy died.

I don't think the island healed him. I think he knew he'd just get knocked out and look like he died, which is why he was glad Locke did that to him.

I'd like to bring up Jack and, specifically, that he's an idiot for trusting Juliette. Idiot.
