So what? What about the whole damned season thus far? Last season ends with some people in a damned igloo? WTF!

Lost, post-hiatus sucks.

The hurley parts were interesting...but the rest sucked. Felt like season 2, when they'd take 30 minutes to show something that in real-time takes maybe 2. Just lazy writing.

Suspense? Thats what the end of the season was. I'm not saying it's as great as season 1 was but still. The series NEEDS comic relief episodes in a bad way. Too much suspense and drama has a way of burning you out on the series.

OK, honestly.....when these threads talk more about the commercials than the show..obviously it wasn't riveting. Yeah it was light-hearted, and I enjoyed the Hurley flashbacks...but really EVERY episode for the last season+ has been like this. Nothing substantial, now story arc, no subplots. Just more 'mystery' to try and sucker viewers into thinking 'oh hey I have no ****** idea what's going on so the writers must be geniuses!!" no wonder the ratings this season have plummeted.

Ugh.

You don't need to be doing 35 to pop-start a car :p.

Other than that I enjoyed an easy going episode, got to see the characters kick back for a bit :)

no, because blu-ray won't exist 5 years from now.

The only interestign thing about that scene was the black rocks that they "dodged". Black/white is a big deal in lost even thoguh i don't know what the dea lis. This is whath et producers have said.

I feel like I'm watching 4 minutes of show and then 3 minutes of commercial.

Wait till it's up on their site and watch it then. There are only three brief commercial interruptions.

Oh and LMAO at Sawyer calling what's his name a Munchkin.

lol, suuuuurrrrrrreeeeee. The outlook for HD-DVD looks real great right now.

Anyway, I actually enjoyed this episode. I do think that this episode might have ended Hurley's "curse", which could have a significant effect on the series. The worst episodes revolved around the second island, but thankfully it looks like they're done with that for a while.

Ya, this was a good episode. That French chick sure has an itchy trigger finger and bad aim though.

Better than last week, but still pretty lame. Cheech was horrible...nice Jeri Curl, dude.
Hopefully with everyone together (aside from Jack), things should pick up. Next week looks interesting, at least they're going back to something from the past (eyepatch dude).

I liked the episode as well. It was a nice change of pace from all of the drama.

And I believe that Rousseau was firing a warning shot, not trying to hit them. But, I could be wrong.

Man these Dharma guys really know their stuff. They invented a gas that doesn't go bad and doesn't varnish carbs!

What's with the dramatic music at the end? Is it supposed to be some big secret that Alex may be Rousseau's daughter?

seconded.

unfortunately it wasn't much more than last weeks pile of crap :(

it feels like the whole episode last night could have given just as much information about the story if the episode didn't have Hurley's whole car ordeal. It was pretty damn weak and the story just did not progress at all.

It could have been Kate/Sawyer come back and mingle, then they go and find the french woman. I mean that's basically all that happened anyways (with any relevance).

Please PLEASE be a better episode next week.

This ep was kinda stupid and pointless... but I noticed whenever they have a bad ep full of fluff you get a pretty good revealing episode the next week.

(judging from the previews) I bet next week we find another station that may put yet another spin on the first two stations, it appears that we meet the dude with the patch, there will be another computer interaction (Locke playing chess vs. the computer?), we will find out a lot because maybe patch dude is an outcast of the others?

also remember they found a glass eyes when they found the bible with the splice of the first orientation film?

only time can tell.
