Did anyone else notice the drastic change in the condition from the Desmond flashbacks to the current times. The dome windows look moldier and the dome itself looks darker just in a couple of years.

Anyone notice how Desmond was there for 3 years and there was no replacement? Weren't the replacments supposed to come every 540 days?

better question. How did the brand new modern washer and dryer get into the hatch without Desmond knowing how they got there?

Finally saw the finale last night.

Meh. I think the show took a very very wrong turn somewhere between Walt's telekenesis and the Dharma Initiative. And the mess of a finale was proof of this. Not much of a fan anymore myself.

Abrams has proven that he's a master of writing characters.....from Felicity to Alias to Lost.....the strength of his shows has always been in the human drama. He's not a storyteller and he's failing miserably at it.

"Walt's telekenesis" - ummm, there is no proof of this. Nothing that can't be explained by coincidence anyways. Him appearing wet in the woods is hte only odd thing that I can think of as odd.

In his flashback, he read about a bird, and then the same bird hit his house window. He read the comic book with the polar bear, and a polar bear showed up.

Good point, I wonder if he will be back next season.

My point is that these could be nothing more than coincidences. The numbers could just be a coincidence. The chances are slim, but there is nothing in the show that has stated a causal relationship.

Also, I think wet Walt was "the monster" or smokey as he is known. Along with the bird in the finale that may or may not have said Hurley.

When did Desmond say that?

I hate that about this show 😉 . If they don't say something, it still is up for grabs leaving us to wonder.

I don't understand why people think that's such a modern washing machine, wasn't it there when Kelvin first brough Desmond to the hatch?

1. Yeah on the Film, it said a replacement every 540 days. So we don't know why no one else didn't show up.

2. Washer and dryer were there before Desmond got there. Screen shot

3. Here's a question. In episode..3? Or 4, something, Walt was in it, talking backwards and he said "Don't push the button, button's bad". But we know they SHOULD push the button now, so why did he say that?

Same reason Henry Gale told Locke not to press the button?

Anyone think that Dave is actually a real person, a person that Hurley may have killed and feels guilty about killing, remember why Hurley was in the institute, he killed a bunch of people, maybe that's why Libby was there, to get pay back?

So you think Walt knew what would happen and wanted it to happen? Was it not really walt?

Good point, it's possible that really wasn't Walt, anyone else see him other than Shannon?
