losing faith in Greece

got a cousin that lives in northern Athens. Was talking to him on MSN and he said the phone lines went dead for almost a day today. his line is fixed but he said over 40,000 subscribers' are still dead and the greek government is doing everything they can to hide this from international media. anyone with more info on this?

Yes I've been to Greece and I liked it. They didn't have any problems w/ electricity & phone lines when I was there. Just asking if anyone else heard anything about it.
