I wish they would push the clock so we would get more light in winter at night. I hate it when it's dark at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

What really sucks is that I work 12 hour shifts on weekends, so I get an hour less off this weekend, and the other guy gets to leave an hour early.

since I'm working, I only have a 7-hour shift. like magic, at 1:59:59, it magically became 3 am, leaving me with only 6 more hours to work.

of course, it'll be kinda depressing in the fall when we go back to standard time and I have to work a 9 hour shift.... guess I'll just have to be sure to be sick that night

No, what will happen is in the fall, the other guy will have quit and I'll have to pull the night shift then too . . .
I know, I'm such an optimist.

hopefully by the time we get to the fall, I'll have enough seniority to get on a different schedule. there's a few people leaving over the summer, and I've been making some noises about wanting their schedules

there are only two of us who work all over-nights, though. the rest of the guys switch schedules depending on the days (except for the department managers, who work 9-7, monday-friday). once the other overnight guys leave, I'll have a pretty good shot at his schedule -- same hours, but he has Friday nights and Saturday nights off
