Are these cheap keys fully working for Blizzard registration, download and online play? Or are they muted or otherwise limited accounts?

Some $5 special going on someone posted in that thread.

I used the link in that thread to buy the $5 D2 + LOD and I got my CDKeys about 2 hours later! I've got Both D2 and LOD downloading now from Blizzard's Digital Downloads! :)

Neither of my keys I purchased work :(

 That sucks. See if you can download D2 somewhere else and test them through b.net. IF they are banned that way, then get a refund

Right-click the shortcut to run the game and click Properties
In the target box, add " -w" to the end of it (no quotes)
So it'll look like this:
"C:\program files\blah blah\diablo2.exe" -w

(I'm not at my home pc, so I don't know the exact path)

Thanks that worked great! Unfortunately, it makes the screen so small its harder to control, oh well, I guess Ill deal with the blurry graphics.

yes. it also includes broodwar for "free" since broodwar does not have a cdkey associated with it

Seriously? I would have sworn my broodwar had a key in the case. I'll have to look for it tomorrow.

Put in both keys at blizzard's site, downloaded DII+LoD... but the installer wants a 26-character cd-key to install? My discs only have 16-char keys on them... am I missing something here?

Strike that, solution:

"Basically, when you register your game at the Blizzard store, you get a NEW CD-key which is found under "View Game Key" on each title picture. So you don't use the one that is on your case for the digital download.

I am not sure if registering your CD-key invalidates it for use with your CD's if you do this. It probably does so you can't get a free copy."

But hey it only took me 9 years to make 1000 posts :p

This is a fantastic service. I love great companies like Blizzard that clearly put the consumer first.
