We were in SoCal about 2 months ago and in one of our travels in the city we saw upon a corner, an 'express' version of a Carl's Jr. It was VERY small, had a drive through and I think that was all..

Sign above it was 'Carl's Jr. JR.' For whatever reason I almost got us lost laughing at that..

Anyone know the location of it? I thought we took a pic of it but alas can't find it now.

I've looked on the restaurant locator but nothing termed as such.

The reason I asked is I met the grandson and granddaughter of the late Mr Karcher today and I mentioned this JR JR location... He was lost as to where it could be, as that was a test pilot some years ago and he did not know any still existed with that signage.

Any help would be great! ... and yes I know and agree that In N Out is most likely the better place to eat if one is doing fast food.. :)

I was absolutely amazed how quickly it was found by my asking. Since I couldn't find it listed as such on their website, I thought it was gone for good. We wanted to stop just for the fun of it, but anyone who knows that area can tell how bad the traffic at the intersection is.

I agree Rabbit it does look like a Checkers or (around Illinois ) Rallys

umm.. I could print ya a buy one get one coupon? :) j/k thank you very much I do appreciate it.

We just have the Hardees here in Illinois and some have a Red Burrito menu versus the green burrito there.

The grandkids were part of a 'Hometown Blitz' as they are visiting 26 franchises in the St Louis area that were recently acquired from another franchisee. They handed out tshirts, food samples and coupons. They also presented a $500 check to a youth center here in town. 'Giving back to the community'. The chevy tahoe they had was pretty sharp though, vinyls all over, flames etc.
