Lopsided (racist) coverage about the hurricane

Everytime I see coverage about the hurricane, I only see blacks looting stores and that seemed rather lopsided to me. A friend of mine just sent me this:

The Mayor of New Orleans made a good call in ordering an evacuation of the city in advance. He offered public transport. But not everyone listens. So not everyone left.

It is noticeable on television that those left behind or stayed behind appear to be poor African-Americans.

This topic isn't new.

I'll tell ya something though. Every single one of us would be "looting" the grocery stores for non-persishable food if we were there too.....clothes as well. Jewelry and TVs, however, which ARE getting looted too, is ridiculous.

The first person had cans of pop, so I'd assume his/her sac is full of food too. The other people have a soggy loaf of bread (stupid)....so maybe their backpacks are full of food as well.

I've seen some other pictures of people that were looting shoe stores and electronics stores freakin' minutes after the winds died down. Those are the kinds of pictures you should be concentrating on.
