Loose glasses

I've been wearing glasses for 3 or 4 months now. I hate having loose glasses, feeling like they'll be sliding off any second. Feel like I can't look down at all. Having to re-adjust them all the time. In summary: Boo loose glasses.

I've had them tightened up twice but there's only so much they can do. I think what I'm looking for it some sort of hybrid between goggles and glasses. Look like glasses, but wrap around my noggin somehow in a way I can tighten them to how I see fit. Need my glasses to grip my face. I'll feel a lot better even if they might look silly. I don't want to buy new glasses though, I spent a lot on my current set and they look real spiff. Sounds more like a DIY project since I don't know any place that can modify glasses like that, but I'm hoping there is some sort of product that does this.

Any ideas? Don't make me go to yahoo answers 🙁

I want my glasses to be like a squid that latched onto my face. I think I'm out of luck though. I guess I could get them tightened up again, but I don't think they realize how tight I want them to fit, and it's probably not possible without some force pulling them back.
