Looks like Newegg is using DHL now.

Egg Saver?

I don't see anything like that... only FedEx and UPS.

Probably on smaller items and it might be a combination between DHL and the postal service (which I've seen several times from other companies).

I ordered from Newegg over a week ago. Selected Super Egg Saver (DHL) shipping. Was shipped the same day and handed over to the postal service the next day (9/8/08) in Cincinnati, about 80 miles away from here (Lexington). Still no shipment or movement on the website. Can track it on the USPS site but they tell me to contact the shipper about it not moving, lol. I guess I'll wait a little longer and then contact Newegg.

My dhl package fits this perfectly, took around 2 weeks to get here.

Now I know the answer to my above question. I guess it will make it here someday...hopefully before the rebate submission deadline expires! :p

Yep, I ordered a replacement MP3 player. I paid $0.00 for shipping, and it's coming via DHL.

Their tracking is about as useful as the one that the USPS uses!

What a disaster. I ordered baseball related stuff and MLB ships exclusively with DHL and they also took FOREVER and once they put it in the USPS system you'll never know when you'll get it. Guess if you want your stuff fast you better pony up some moolah for Fed-Ex/UPS..or buy somewhere else. I like Newegg but this isn't good for me at all.

God, DHL ftl. There was this one DHL truck that parked in my neighborhood and the guy just sat there for like 4 hours. DHL also NEVER delivers early to me, either. Fedex, UPS, always deliver around 10am, DHL EVERYTIME after 5pm.

Fuck DHL.

I've never had DHL deliver a product to me intact, or on time, and sometimes I've had to play hide and seek with them around the house. Boo to this. I'll either pay more for shipping that won't end up with my product being delivered in an irregular shape or take my business elsewhere.

I've never had a good experience with DHL. They would never leave it at my apartment and for some reason they said the managers there wouldn't sign for anything from DHL (they do UPS and Fedex). So I'd have to go down to their office between 6PM (when the driver got back) and 6:30PM (when they closed) to pick up anything. I'm not sure if being in a house now would change anything, but it still sucked.

Great another option besides FexEX and UPS. I will never buy anything shipped via FedEx again. To many issues with them. From poor treatment of packages to delivery to wrong street and wrong address.
I have never had FexEx delivery a package properly. DHL has been the best for me so far.
FexEx tracking info isn't worth shit. I have seen them go back and edit it.

You get what you pay for. Our company switched to DHL for a good portion of our accounts (shipped revenue over $100 million a month) and switched back to UPS/FedEx not even 6 months later. They were THAT bad. Not just bad, but THAT bad.

(based on 100's of screw-ups over several years)

We are batting pretty good nationally with DHL...it's been the cheapest by far.

The only screw up in probably 10000 packages has been two blackberries sent to the same address somehow getting routed to a Dell facility 10 miles away...in a different zip code even.

They are trying to figure out what went wrong.

The wierd part with their logistics is often 3pm next day is the cheapest method or only a little more than ground. Often 2 day turns out to be the most expensive other than first am delivery.

Most things under 10lbs I can ship overnight for $4.20...I shipped 55lbs (20x20x20 cube) for $45 overnight just yesterday.

OH man.. just started tracking 2 days after it supposedly shipped, truth is it didnt get to DHL till 24 hours after neweeg sent tracking through email.

If I wouldve KNOWN they shipped DHL i wouldve just paid a few bucks more for UPS it would've been here today. Thats a Fact seeing is how they shipped just a state away.

If you dont mind waiting ... guess they may be ok...hah cant wait to leave my glowing review.. newegg does suk but only when they use DHL:D

glowing review? You got exactly what you paid for!

You could have opted for faster service.

Almost always in today's market, tracking is not valid until the next day.

Service doesn't matter, they are stating a 'time in transit'. Did it take NewEgg longer to get it to you than they say EggSaver would?

Many companies have 'super saver' where they pick the cheapest route which could change based on weight, size and/or type of delivery.
