Looks like Indy's done for....or more finely put....Manning's done for the year...

Damn that sucks. Even though I'm a Pats fan I always look forward to them playing the Colts with Manning at the helm. He's one of the greatest to play the game alongside Montana, Elway and Brady, probably a better on field genenral than Brady and Elway and right up there with Montana. The thing about him though he can make a 3 and 13 team into a 13 and 3team. I don't know if the same can be said about Brady, Elway or Montana.

I really hope he fully recovers and finishes out his great career on top..well maybe not on top but right below the Pats.

all of this.

as much as I enjoy watching Peyton run a team, though, the Colts teams have bored me to death the previous two seasons.

That's because of the coaching changes. Caldwell always has a "I don't know what's going on!" look in his eyes and Coyer -- well, the defense speaks to his (lack of) skill.

Perhaps because the team is so 1-dimensional? It's Manning or ?, all-or-nothing.

I, for the most part agree. Without Manning the Dolts are average at best, sub-par at worse.

I feel for Indycoltsfan. This may be a much different season than he's used to ...

Love your new avatar ...

I wish I could care about pro football again ... but I regained my sanity back in 2001.

The best was hearing Tony Dungy say on the pregame show tonight that the Colts would make the playoffs without Manning. I actually yelled at the screen that he was delusional.
