alan moore has created some of the best comic books ever written and the movies based off his stuff still tend to stink. i both fear and await the day The Watchmen goes to film.

A collective "Yo, Joe!" was cried across the country in mid-September when news broke that a full-length, live-action G.I. Joe movie was being developed by uber-producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the man responsible for classic fanboy series like The Matrix and Harry Potter as well as the upcoming Constantine (based on Vertigo's Hellblazer comics). While many of the details about the project are still unknown, like whether the fill will be based on the 60's or 80's incarnation of the Joes, what is clear is the pent-up excitement of Joe fans that have been pining for years for a live action adaption.
