Hey Guys, here is my current setup:

Core I7 920
Gigabyte Mobo x58 Extreme water cooled
12gigs ram PC 12800 1600MHz
Velociraptor 300 gig main HD
Radeon HD 5870

Anyway, i was considering upgrading and dual carding to a 6870, or going with on a single 6970 (they are the same price on newegg as two 6870's) and eventually adding another 6970 later on.

My question would be which route would you guys go, and is there another line of cards coming out soon where I should wait for the price drop. Thanks for any help. Also my first post, weeee 🙄
 
My advice is play games and have fun. You have a nice system.

Beginning of next year is when the new cards come out then you'll have a worthy replacement for your 5870
