Do yourself a favor and just get Dish. I switched over a few months ago from Comcast and my wife and I feel like we've stepped out of the stone age. Either way good luck and I hope you get what you're looking for.

Its not really the service we have a problem with as weve never had a cable outage here just the equipment rental fees that are the unwelcome thing. Id get rid of the phone/internet rental box fee too but the modem isnt worth replacing now and the phone box isnt either as we only get charged one fee for either or.

Same here. I have Brighthouse, and while I've never had problems with the service they recently upped the price on the HD DVR box to 19.95 a month! The InfiniTV will pay for it self in about 12 months with the cost savings of not having to rent a box.

If I needed a multi-tv setup, I'd definitely look into a Q + echo setup, but since I only have one TV the InfiniTV works just fine.

If you do get another TV you'll be able to use an Echo once they become available since it will function perfectly fine as an extender with the InfiniTV, or any other tuner in Media Center for that matter.
