Just got a job (finally) that will require me to move. I've been using Google to help me search for an apartment. I was just wonder what websites you guys have used to help find a place to live?

Check the local newspaper websites classifieds, maybe try Craigslist. Facebook might be possible as well.

Craigslist is prob the best place to find apartments/housing. Thats where i have found all my places in college

is it close enough that you can drive out there for an afternoon to look around neighborhoods and buy some local newspapers?

it seems to vary from location to location, but where I live, it seems like 99% of craigslist rental ads are brokers or sprawling apartment complexes. personally, I prefer to live in a 2-3 family house. I've found that when you know your neighbors better, they tend to be more courteous (and better upkeep when the landlord lives on the same property)

You could say where you are moving to and find that someone here has been or lives there and could give you some good advice.
