Looking to make my case quiter

I am aware that the two loudest parts of my computer are my Visiontek Geforce4 ti4400 and my Coolermaster IHC-H71 heatsink/fan. I am thinking of getting this replacement heatsink for my video card. Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with it?
Zalman Heatpipe Cooler

also, what good replacement for the heatsink is there that is quiet and decent in cooling? I don't overclock and i have a p4 2.26 that runs at 50 full load right now with the fan speed being lowered by my antec truepower ps.

Another thing i am thinking about is instead of a whole new hsf, i can just get a new 60 mm fan for my coolermaster. Are there any quiet ones out there? I found a 60 mm panaflo fan on newegg for 6 bucks + shipping.

On a final note, does anyone know where to get these parts for cheaper? Thanks for any help.

I have a lesser version (CNPS-17, or close to that) of the Zalman on my Ti200, and the Zalman CNPS-7000 on my P4. Noise levels dropped through the floor with those two changes. CPU temps are the same or a little cooler than stock, while fan RPMs are down by roughly 50%. Dunno about video card temps, since I have never had a monitor there, but have never had a problem there. Zalman reviews are all good, and the heatpipe version is even better than my 17. Check out www.svc.com for good selection and low prices for shipping multiple items. Great selection of lengths and sizes of round cables, too.

Things you can do to make your computer "quiter"

1) Water is your friend. Water make electronics produce many sparks of beautiful colors. Experiment, let your imagination flow. Come back afterwards and post pics.
2) Electricity. Too much is never enough. From explosions to burning, there are unlimited possiblities for an unconstrainted mind. Come back afterwards and post pics.
3) Sledgehammer. The tool of the professional. Just don't pull a muscle, we wouldn't want you to get hurt or anything. Come back afterwards and post pics.
4) You. Make wild passionate love to that machine that gives you so much joy. DO NOT come back afterwards and post pics.

And so we see the life of another spammer who has wasted my time...

Can you not take a joke or is your time so valuable that you failed 4th grade spelling? If you would so kindly browse through the first page of this forum, you will find all the answers to your questions.

BTW, I don't know what you are whining about, I answered your question.

cheapest way to quiet down a pc and maintain adequate cooling is an 80mm fan as opposed to the standard 60mm's. An 80mm fan at 3200 rpm will most likely move similar cfm to a 60mm at 5200 rpm, thus lowering noise significantly.
