Are there stores who would check a used note 9 for a fee?
How do i check a used phone besides physically looking at it before purchase?
My worry is the screen may have been replaced and not being oem
Huge difference between oem and aftermarket screens

Good question. Not sure if there is any software that will definitively tell you if the display is genuine, by a model number or something. But you could look at app like Device Info HW to look at the specs of the display to make sure they match up with an OEM display. Such as for the Note 9 you should see 2960x1440 resolution and HDR10, HLG. A cheap knock off may have the same resolution, but likely wouldn't be HDR10, much less HLG.

A reputable repair shop like Ubreakifix may take the phone apart for you to confirm the display is OEM for a cost.
