Looking to buy a laptop with a budget.

Hi, I'm new here and I'm looking everywhere I can to get the most bang for my buck. I have about $700 to $750 to spend on a new laptop/notebook. I'm planning on using this laptop primarily for gaming, but not heavy gaming. I want to play some Steam games on it, and World of Warcraft. If anyone can help me find an ideal notebook it would be greatly appreciated

A "gaming" laptop will run more cash than you want to spend.

Go with...
Dell, HP, Acer or Lenovo

Intel's integrated GPUs are the worst crap for gaming of any of the onboard chips. AMD and nVidia both make far superior integrated GPUs.

QFT.

Notebooks with "true" graphics cards that can handle serious gaming are beyond your budget, but AMD and Nvidia both do reasonable integrated and entry-level mobile cards. Don't be drawn into getting Intel's mass-maket integrated chip.

dcam, read some reviews on that Gateway. Its an honest to goodness solid gamer laptop that is highly moddable. You can swap out the relatively pokey CPU for a faster one, and the 8800m video is a quantum leap over the regular Intel crap video you get these days.

The only downside I see is that the refurbs you are getting from TD are somewhat suspect in their quality. Google the deal for details on the issues, but consider this your best gamer laptop by a wide margin. I've been trying to beat the deal for months and can't find anything equivalent for anywhere near the price.
