Does anyone have any tips or anything cheaper?, open to all.
$400, maybe 500 range.
All this will be for my computer, movies, games and music.

Depends. You can almost always do better than HTIB though.

If you're set on HTIB though (which I'm guessing you are due to the receiver included in that one linked to), this set (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882120168).

If you have the time/energy/etc, you can make your own HT system with much better sound quality. Personally, I would rather have less # of speakers, but better sounding ones. For example:
2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882290208 $180/ea $360
1x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882120164 $200

You could also go cheaper with the Monitor 60's @ $130/ea, Monitor 50's @ $93/ea, Monitor 40's @ $130/pair. The Monitor 70's could be used without a sub though (albeit not ideal) which is why I suggested that.

There are many other options out there as well, and basically anything is better than HTIB options. If you opt to go the HTIB route, I'd stay away from basically anything BB sells. That's just myself though.

When you say "for your computer"...do you mean you are sitting at a desk with a relatively small monitor and viewing only from a few feet away? Or do you have a computer outputing to a larger screen with a more conventional seating layout?

Thanks for all of your guys input. I did some research.

I just ordered the Polk Audio Monitor70 speakers since they were on sale.

Now I'm looking into that Onkyo receiver and a sound card.

You got floorstanders for a desktop PC setup!? Makes no sense.

If you don't need it in a rush, you can shop Newegg and wait for good equipment to go on sale. I managed to put together a good 5.1 setup for my living room for under a grand because I was willing to wait and put together the system over time.

Honestly, if you have those Polk speakers you can easily skip the sub. I picked up a similar set and they were more than capable of handling the bass. I eventually ended up tweaking the receiver to set the sub cross-over higher just so it would have something to do. Unless you get a really good sub, those floorstanders will be more than enough.

I'm looking into deals everyday on this site.

Well i'm not in a rush, but these speakers are awesome, using them from my old 2002 receiver(philips component cables) to a 5.1(creative X-fi)usb........ and they sound terrific. these speakers are flawless.
They handle everything alright, but will invest in a newer receiver, sound card and sub woofer.
