Looking to buy a digital camara.

After I get my tax refund, i've decided to go buy a nice digital camara. I dont want somethign super small, that pisses me off a bit. Looking for a nice compact size.

I was at best buy and I narrowed it down to THIS camara.

I was also looking at a kodak 6.1 mp but it seemed cheap. For example the botton to switch modes sucked imo. The sony has a really nice LCD. 2.5 inches total I believe. There is an older revision of this camara on newegg which has the must votes, most people gave it 5 stars. Seems to be a popular camara.

Anyways, I dont know much so can you guys reccomend a good digital cam for around 300 bucks. My friend told me Canon was the best.

Its a nice camara but only 3.2 mega pixils..... The sony I pickd out is the same price and is 5.1.
