looking to buy a case for new build

I still don't see why the case might not be usb 3 compatible, if the mother board has usb 3 ports isn't that enough?

The only thing that makes a case USB 3.0 compatable are USB 3.0 ports. Most cases only have USB 2.0 ports currently. USB 3.0 ports can be added to any case with an xtra 5.25/3.5" bay for around $20 or so if you don't wanna have to plug in to the MB ports 🙂
