I am looking into buying these cars to restore and sell...I would like to get cars that need interior work and have straight rust free bodies. I will pay a finders fee and do not care where they are.( if the deal completes) Let me know what you find and particulars with pics etc. I have an 87 TA GTA for myself, just picked up a 67 Firebird and looking for more. Thanks

PM's can be sent to testarosa2000@yahoo.com

I will keep an eye out for one. Just this week I looked at a 69 roadrunner roller with rebuildable engine zero rust and decent paint. 10k.

I think in the long run you are in luck. Find one with a straight body, and you are good to go. They literally make so many repop interior and drivetrain parts, you can rebuild straight from the catalog. When I had a 67 Mustang, I was jealous they didn't make certain and much needed parts. The 65-66 was much easier.
Start with a Year One catalog and go from there to see what you are getting into.

BTW-have you checked out a Hemmings at the newstand? It might be worth subscribing to for a while.

Never rush it. It's a very emotional experience, it can set in compulsive feelings.

Seen plenty of rusted out 69 Charger frames with no motor, interior or body panels going for $6,000. Insane.

your welcome!

and there is little chance that you can recoup your investment in classic cars right now even if you get the car for free.

I cant tell you how many cherry projects I have seen for sale lately on CL.

Weirdest one was a Vortec swap into a CJ5 with carbon fiber all over the place with a 3 inch lift. Guy couldnt give it away for months.

the 1969 model year is going to be a hard one...that seems to be way more in demand than the 67-68.

It was one of the cars I wanted when I ended up with my 1966 GT as a first car.

Carbon fiber on a jeep? HAhaha
And I thought Ford and import lubbers were slow. Chrysler fans put them to shame.
