I am looking to build a new system from scratch for gaming. I have around $900. My thoughts right now are:
CPU - 3000+ A64
Mobo - ? around $100, prob AK86-L as now
RAM - 2x256 Mushkin Level One 3500
GPU - Sapphire 9600 Pro
PSU - Antec 350W SL350
I think everything else is minor and doesnt need much consideration.
My basic questions:
1) How much power do you think I will need? I want to OC a little, but nothing overly strong.
2) Should I upgrade to 1 Gb of RAM? Would it be better to up the speed on it?
3) Any thoughts on mobo or CPU?
4) Is GPU worth it now, or should I stick with decent one and upgrade with next generation?
