Looking to build my first water cooling setup

I've been posting about some upgrades that I'll be making to my current system soon (current system in signature). Here are the upgrade parts:

ASUS P6X58D-E
Core i7-930
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3

I'm planning on overclocking the i7-930 to 4.0GHz+, and so far most people in the forums are telling me to go with a custom water cooling setup. I know zilch about water cooling but I'm willing to learn. So, can you guys get me started? What parts would I need to get, and how much would it cost to put together a cooling setup that would outperform the Corsair H50 (which is what I was originally looking at using)?

Heat Killer CPU block
1 gallon of distilled water - i've had my loop up for over a year and i have no residue buildup
1/2" Fatboy barbs
5/8th tubing
you'll also need a radiator (rad)
a water pump
and possibly a reservoir

subscribed :)

EDIT: i would also put some active cooling on your North Bridge

I can't imagine no one having replied yet, I'm not current and blocks and such, who are the top performers on the I7 / I5 platforms. You can put together a good loop for around $250 that would be upgrade ready to handle most any system. Have you read this?

Thanks guys, but I decided to get an air cooler for now. When I get some extra money I'll come back and ask some more questions.
