Mmm, I'm wondering now that we've switched to the 560ti OC, if that PSU would be enough. I think it is, but I'd like a sanity check form everyone here.
336w is cutting it close especially if OP OC's and the GPU is an OC'd GPU.

Get this PSU if 430W is too slim:

It should turn out to be $15 more.
So go with everything on the build above but change the PSU to that one?
Also, could I get some feedback on the networking issue. I re-read it and realized it didn't make much sense. I apologize. Do you need to have matching Windows 7 systems for the network to be compatible? As in 64bit desktop matching a 64bit netbook?
Yea, change the PSU to that. Overshoots your budget by like $5 though.
Are you looking to share applications or just files on the network? With the later it should be no problem; with the former I have no clue.
I don't think there are 64bit versions of Windows 7 starter, but it should be no issue for just a home network. Definitely get 64bit for the desktop otherwise you won't be able to use half your RAM.
try and get an E-350 from AMD with 2gb of RAM it might cost a bit more then you would like though.
You seem to be quite sharp for a to be College Student so best of luck.
Your plan is an excellent one IMHO.
Nothing of value to add to the always excellent suggestions provided here so just want to offer an overall congrats!
