Isnt there like a pink one with bunny ears? Heh. IDK, I would try to fit an A64 in there if at all possible. Getting outdated equipment is never nice; instead, get current gen but lower spec.

Dude, his GF wouldnt be able to tell the difference between a PIII and A64.

Like she is going to take advantage of the A64 and use it to its potential.

She is probably gonna be using email, browsing, and downloading music, or somthing similer.

Plus, CS will run on pretty much anything with a half decent gfx card.

Oh, and welcome to the AT Forums in case I missed you.

The Chenming 118 has already been recommended and is my choice over the Aspire as I don't care for so many windows. The PSU in the Chenming is adequate for most systems because the power is allocated properly for modern systems. Look at the 12V amps for only a 300W PSU. Just make sure your mobo is powered from the 12V rail (has the P4-12V, 4-pin socket to power the CPU). I would choose the Chenming or the Enermax Venus series (in the blue/silver color scheme) as it also has a sturdy PSU. Use the integrated video initially to determine if it is enough. If not, you can add a card when convenient.
. These cases work best with the short-chassis optical drives like most LiteOns, etc.
. Avoid Kingston Value RAM - my experience with them has not been good. Of the 4 I've owned, 1 was DOA and another had to be RMAd after not very long. Their RMA process is pretty quick and they do offer cross-shp, but I was glad I always keep two modules in my machine so I won't be SOL if one dies. I'd prefer them to just work! Go with Crucial, Kingmax, Corsair Value , etc. - almost anything but KVR!
