Looking forward to buy PS3 and old COD games

Hi, I am looking forward to purchase PS3 to play Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 and COD MW3 and MW2 and other games but I am confused if online on PS3 is gonna be discontinued ? I dont wanna spend a good amount of money on a console and not being able to play in future.
So do you think Online on PS3 will be discontinued ? And do you think MW2, MW3,and BO2 servers will be shut off ?

Anyone knows how many players are still online on MW2,MW3 and BO 2 ?

PS3 will still be around for awhile. As far as the COD servers, I wouldn't worry about it shutting down. I mean even if it shuts down in 5 years down the road, are you really going to still be playing these games then?

For example , Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare which was released in 2007, is still one of the BEST COD games ever. It was GOTY also .
I would be playing COD 4, MW2 , MW3 and BO2

I don't think it'll be an issue of being discontinued, more like being very hard to find any people to play with. Good luck though
