I think there is a difference between having a site that does not generate revenue and being a "non-profit" site. As a "non-profit" you have different tax implications. Even non-profit companies pay their employees. I think it would be more appropriate to state that your site is currently not generating any revenue which means there is virtually little, if any, cash flow - so salaries are not being paid for the work that is done. 😉
